COTS is intended to be accomplished in partnership with churches in the community. The COTS Manual is complementary to the COTS Guide. It covers service components of a COTS church service plus procedures for fulfilling special services. Worship resources are available for COTS, to be incorporated as requested and needed.
The overall goal for COTS is to bring Christ into the lives of our homeless neighbors so they can regain hope and healing and redemption through HIM. A secondary goal is to help people regain function lives, including gainful employment, reintegration into the normal communities, welcome into a faith community, and restoration into housing within their means in a neighborhood where they can live as participating and contributing members.
