Daniel Introduction and One introduces the book and covers the first chapter of Daniel. The book of Daniel is a tremendous history plus prophesy of the future (from Daniel's perspective). The prophesies are so precise that some who do not believe in God's inspiration of the Bible have tried to deny its authenticity, to deny Daniel's authorship, or deny the time of the book's writing. The historical events of the past which are predicted in Daniel are so closely aligned that most skeptics assert that the Book was written around 100 BC. However, scrolls of Daniel have been discovered which have been dated to several hundred years BC. The historical events of Daniel's time have been documented by archaeology within the 20th Century.

This introduction is a standard part of our discipleship from the Old Testament.
