Intimacy with God (by Marriage example)

Throughout the Bible, the marriage relationship and the relationship of believers with God are parallel concepts. The things we need to do to build intimacy with God are also the things we need to do to build intimacy in a marriage and vice versa. This is not mere physical intimacy, it is spiritual, intellectual, and emotional intimacy. When all areas of intimacy are working well, the relationships are growing better and better even in trials.
