Ministry on the Street Training

Ministry on the Street Training has been developed to provide volunteers who are working in various ministries on the streets, such as COTS with information they need.

This training package provides a concise overview of the emotional and spiritual conditions of the people we encounter in street ministries. It also helps us to not fear when we meet people who seem "not normal" so we can minister to their needs more effectively in the love of Christ.

How to integrate other COTS resources into the street ministry is discussed. The Community Code of Ethics is a key resource to help in street ministry tasks. The "How to Hold Spiritual Conversations" and "Thanksgiving Therapy" resources were developed by the COTS team alongside this training package.
