MATTHEW 25:34-40 Ministries helps to organize local prayer events, especially those supporting global and national initiatives, including the Global Day of Prayer, International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church, National Day of Prayer (in the US and other nations having one), special prayers for holidays and elections, and inter-church prayer events promoting community cooperation. We promote and participate in pastoral prayer groups, especially those promoting community cooperation in The Church.
We provide prayer warriors and lead prayers for special events, such as Gospel Crusades (Mission San Diego with Billy Graham, Festival of Hope, Harvest Crusades, Promise Keepers, Mighty Men's Fellowship Conferences, Full Gospel Crusades, New Year's events, Thanksgiving events, Independence Day events, Memorial Day Remembrance events, Veteran's Day events, etc.). We also train prayer teams for special events.
We promote communities of prayer and inter-congregational prayer everywhere we can. If prayer is effective against our enemy (which it is), then massed prayer is like massing artillery on a target.
We also teach our Course on Prayer to whoever requests it. When we do this, we also suggest various means for implementing prayers in the community.
When opportunities avail themselves, we help congregations and organizations revitalize their prayer groups. Every Ministry leader is trained to look for opportunities to lead communities to pray more.
